Features and Applications

Actmix PDM-75GE F140 is a sulfur-free vulcanization crosslinking agent used for rubber cables. It can replace all sulfur-containing vulcanizing agents such as thiazoles and thiurams, solving the problem of copper wires and copper electrical appliances being contaminated and blackened by copper sulfide generated from contact with sulfur-containing vulcanizing agents. When compounded with sulfur in natural rubber, it can prevent reversion, improve heat resistance and reduce heat build-up of the compound. It can be used both as a vulcanizing agent and as an auxiliary agent for peroxides. PDM used as a vulcanizing agent or auxiliary vulcanizing agent in various synthetic rubbers and rubber-plastic blends can significantly improve crosslinking performance and heat resistance. PDM can also significantly reduce the compression set of the compound, improve the bonding strength between the compound and metal or cord, and prevent scorching during rubber processing. It is not only suitable for general rubber products, but also for special large tires and large-sized rubber products.

Detailed Introduction

Dosage: 0.5-1.0 phr as an anti-scorching agent, 2-3 phr as a vulcanizing agent, 1.5 phr for improving compression set, and 0.5-5.0 phr for improving bonding strength.
Application: Suitable for both general-purpose rubbers and special rubbers as well as rubber-plastic blend systems.
Packaging: Cartons lined with PE bags, with a net weight of 25KG per carton; 600KG per pallet.
Storage stability: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place in sealed containers, and the recommended shelf life is two years.
